White Balance

White balance ( WB ) is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo.

White balance basically means colour balance. It is a function which gives the camera a reference to "true white"

Since white light is the sum of all other colours, the camera will then display all colours correctly.
